The CCM Shoulder Check is more than a tournament, it is an event. Kicking off with opening night feature games as well as a celebrity game, the CCM Shoulder Check is a youth hockey celebration in memory of Hayden Thorsen, who passed away in 2022.

We will host boys teams at the 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 birth years and girls teams at the U14 level.

HAYDEN THORSEN …is the inspiration behind this tournament. Hayden was #40 on the ice. But above all, he was a friend to all. He was a leader. The hand on your shoulder. The “How’s it going?” that let you know you weren’t on your own. He was the thread between friends, strangers, and even competitors. Though he left us far too early, the way he lived his life is the guiding light of our foundation.

Shoulder Check a reality, celebrating players commitment to one another dedicated to bringing people together through kindness and compassion. To inspire a culture of support through small actions that have a big impact.

STAY-TO-PLAY EVENT
Reserving rooms through the 200x85 CCM Event requires teams and families to stay in the designated tournament hotel block.
No other rates, discounts, or reward points, (regardless of how acquired) will be allowed. No exceptions.
Failure to follow and or circumvent procedures and obligations will result in removal from the tevent. In this case registration fees will not be refunded.
